Romulans. They are surpassed in dangerousness only by the Borg – cyborgs of different races from the Delta Quadrant. The Tal Shiar, a Romulan secret service, manages to integrate a Borg transwarp drive into the IRS Rihan. The necessary technical information comes from the memory of a single surviving Borg – it is the former Captain Edwards. There is a fateful meeting of the Rihan and the USS Angström.
