Rachel, ambitious to marry well, meets Nick's millionaire father in a hotel lounge.

The relationships between Nick and Anna, Rachel and Sir George are tested.

Commitments mark the concluding episode, as Anna and Nick take wedding vows and Rachel determines to pursue her career.
