Season 5

The members of New Directions are back in action and take on their biggest assignment yet: the Beatles! As Will enlists the kids to pay homage to the classic song catalog from the Fab Four, Blaine and Kurt attempt to answer questions about their future together. Meanwhile, Rachel's New York ambitions take an unexpected turn.

As the Prom approaches, the race for Prom Queen brings out the best and the worst in candidates Tina and Kitty. Meanwhile, Sam tries to make a connection with a new school nurse, an increasingly discouraged Rachel waits for word on her Funny Girl callback, and Santana makes a new friend at work.

The New Directions remember Finn.

The members of New Directions tackle their assignment of getting out of their comfort zones and determining whether they're more like "Katy" (Perry) or (Lady) "Gaga." Kurt holds auditions for his new band and must decide if he'll let in the overly bold performer, Starchild. Meanwhile, Jake gets closer to Bree as he and Marley grow apart.

The glee club learns the dance of the hour: twerking. Meanwhile, Marley discovers Jake's relationship with Bree, and Rachel tries to convince Kurt they both should get tattoos.

The New Directions pay homage to the Piano Man: Billy Joel. As graduation looms closer, the seniors make plans for their futures beyond the halls of McKinley.

Blaine believes he has the best plan to win nationals, but the other club members think he's too controlling; members of Kurt's band disagree over the venue of their first gig; Sue gets in touch with her feminine side.

Sue Sylvester introduces the episode as a Christmas special that FOX did not allow to air from last year. The members of New Directions audition for roles in McKinley's living Nativity Scene. Meanwhile in New York, Rachel, Kurt and Santana work as Santa's elves at a mall.

Santana auditions and snags the role of Rachel’s understudy in “Funny Girl,” causing a feud between the roommates. Meanwhile, back in Lima, Tina and Artie compete against each other to be the class valedictorian.

When Sam, Tina and Blaine plan a lock-in at the school, Becky unexpectedly joins in; Elliot (Adam Lambert) gets caught in Santana and Rachel's feud.

The glee club -- and two special guests -- travels to Los Angeles to compete in nationals.

The glee club are saying goodbye to each other when two old guests come and decide to save the glee club.

With the McKinley High glee club officially at an end, past and present members of New Directions look towards the future.

New Directions alumni adjust to their new lives in the city; Blaine and Sam move in with Kurt; Artie has difficulty adjusting to life in Manhattan; Rachel likes being a Broadway star; Mercedes works on her album.

Rachel is faced with a decision that pits her education against her career. Sam and Mercedes consider rekindling their romance. Kurt comes face-to-face with a hate-crime.

Blaine suffers a crisis of confidence after gaining the dreaded “Freshman Fifteen.” Artie discovers that his newfound success with the ladies comes at a price. Mercedes tells Sam she’s still a virgin.

The gang must rally an uncharacteristically insecure Rachel in time to make her Broadway debut in Funny Girl… but not everyone in the audience is wishing Rachel the best.

Rachel is presented with a unique opportunity which could either take her career to the next level, or possibly kill it entirely. Meanwhile, Mercedes asks for Santana’s help finding a “new sound” for her latest single, and a wealthy New York socialite takes Blaine under her wing.

Santana helps Rachel do damage control for her flagging public image; Kurt tries to help a home for retired Broadway performers with their production of Peter Pan; to prove he is responsible, Sam adopts a dog - despite Mercedes’ objections.

Rachel meets a famous television writer, whose eccentric personality catches Rachel off guard. Meanwhile, Sam and Mercedes deal with the pressure of commitment as their careers take off, and the time has finally come for Blaine’s big showcase with June Dolloway at NYADA.
