Season 1

As the Torkelsons move in with the Morgans in Seattle, both families have difficulty adjusting to each other. Molly attempts to help Dorothy Jane dress hip, while Gregory takes advantage of Mary Sue and Chuckie Lee to take care of his chores.

When Molly finds out that Dorothy Jane's boss at her new job in a mall is quite handsome, she takes on the job as well to compete with Dorothy Jane for his attention.

Molly crashes her Dad's car into the house, right into Mrs. Torkelson's room. While her room is being repaired, Mrs. Torkelson is given Molly's room to sleep in and Molly ends up being Dorothy Jane's roommate.

Dorothy Jane tries to tutor Kevin Johnson, the top jock in her new school, in a poetry assignment and the two start butting heads.

When Jennifer is unable to accompany Mr. Morgan to a business dinner her asks Mrs. Torkelson to take her place. Chuckie Lee brings home the class pet.

Mr. Morgan's brother Jim comes to town and takes Mrs. Torkelson out on a date.

Molly decides to plagiarize Dorothy Jane's old book report for Pride and Prejudice, instead of using it as a guide for her own report like Dorothy Jane had intended.

Dorothy Jane and Molly's have a slight problem when their Sweet 16 birthday parties coincide on the same day as one another.

Millicent disapproves of Molly dating a college-age guy she has been secretly seeing, though Brian already gave his daughter approval to date him.

Gregory is in trouble when his tomboy friend Sam, whom he doesn't see as much of a girl, decides to transform herself into a beautiful young lady with Millcent's help and asks him to attend the Girls' Choice Dance with her.

Chuckie Lee poses for Brian's clothing catalog, and ends up loving the attention he gets from it. After a director sees his portfolio, Chuckie Lee is offered a role in a commercial.

To prove to Samantha how much he cares about her, Gregory promises to get his girlfriend tickets to see rock star Tommy Tom in concert.

Millicent decides to enter the father-son bowling tournament organized by Chuckie Lee's Wilderness Troop, so her son won't be left out.
