Kari visits Tim's grave with their three-month-old daughter, Jessie. Ashley takes advice from Elizabeth and Erica regarding a job interview. John and Brooke fight to save the life of a close family friend.

Elizabeth and Erin finish the new nursery. Ashley starts her new job, but a troublesome manager makes her first day difficult. Luke and Reagan discuss meeting Reagan’s family. Back at the hospital, Landon continues to fight for his life.

The Baxters prepare for Erin's birthday party. Now that Landon has miraculously recovered, he and Ashley have a difficult conversation. Kari and Ryan are in regular contact, while Erin and her husband Sam share unexpected news at the birthday party.

Elizabeth's nursery project at the church pays off, with new families touring the space. At Tim's grave, Kari makes a monumental decision. Ashley speaks up at work and reaches out to Landon for one last chat before he moves to California.
