Marco is shocked when his girlfriend shows up in a new Porsche. Not because of the material extravagance, but because he suspects an affair is behind the gift. During the investigation, Maloney crosses paths with the suspicious lawyer couple "Schimpf & Schimpf".

Sleepwalker Emilia Dobek wakes up in the middle of a park with a blood-stained wallet in her hand. She's convinced she's killed someone. Maloney investigates and, in a sleep lab, uncovers a number of nightmarish double lives.

Maloney wakes up hungover under the wrong office desk. In his hands, he clutches a blood-stained knife. Yet he was the one assigned to provide personal protection for a businessman at the party the night before. The police officer, overcome with glee, has no doubt: Maloney is the murderer and arrests him.

In his latest case, Maloney finds himself in a spooky apartment building. Bodies appear in the elevator, and then vanish just as quickly. Is Maloney's client mentally unstable, or are supernatural forces at work in the building?

Mrs. Thaler has joined the group "The Last Day," which is preparing for the apocalypse. This displeases her daughter, who suspects a scam. Maloney, who is supposed to rescue her mother from the clutches of the doomsday guru in the woods, soon stumbles upon a "wrecked" corpse.

Maloney is working undercover at a luxury psychiatric clinic, where he's supposed to solve a murder disguised as a suicide. But instead of finding his client, who's supposed to provide him with information, he encounters aggressive patients, a neurotic clinic director and a dead body in the bushes.

Maloney's new case takes him to a retirement home, where he is supposed to solve a case of sabotage involving a walker. When, unexpectedly, not his paranoid client but the accused dies, Maloney uncovers jealous rivalries, vicious intrigues and eccentric personalities hidden beneath the surface of everyday life at the retirement home.

Maloney is hired as a bodyguard and night watchman for the Liebknecht couple. Their constantly malfunctioning alarm system robs them of sleep. But in the middle of the night, Maloney is awakened from a micro-sleep by a police officer: the client lies murdered in the villa Maloney was supposed to be guarding.

A routine assignment takes Philip Maloney to the countryside. But instead of fresh air, he encounters a mysterious theft, a quirky alien community and a shriveled corpse. Was someone really abducted by extraterrestrials, or is a very earthly murder being covered up?

Maloney's arch-nemesis has disappeared. To find him, the detective needs the help of a cunning thief, a standoffish policewoman and a wife who throws everything into disarray. What could possibly go wrong?
