The reality of sloppy meat processing in China has come to light. There are as many as 40,000 complaints about food every year. We follow a citizen NGO that has been formed to eradicate dangerous food. We look into the reality of the gap between rich and poor and the distortions that exist.

Food production sites are starting to move forward with safety as a priority, with brand-name vegetable production using organic fertilizer and meat production incorporating Japanese technology. We follow producers struggling between safety and price competition.
