Season 9

In the midst of covid, Amber struggles with her long distance relationship with Dimitri when he becomes possessive. Maci puts her personal feelings aside when Bentley wants to go to therapy with Ryan.

Amber is shocked when Gary asks her to move onto his property. Catelynn pursues a career in microblading while Mackenzie accepts a job opportunity in Florida. Bentley starts therapy and Maci is heartbroken when she finds out he feels neglected.

When Mackenzie’s father needs to have quadruple bypass surgery, her plans to move to Florida are put on pause. Maci worries about Bentley’s performance in school while Catelynn and Tyler contemplate having another child.

Maci helps Bentley decide if he should go to his brother, Jagger’s birthday since Ryan will be there. Catelynn and Tyler work on discipling Nova while Amber makes a decision about living on Gary’s property.

Catelynn believes she’s pregnant while Maci deals with a change in venue for Jagger’s birthday party which puts Bentley in an awkward position. Cheyenne considers buying a new house with Zach.

Amber deals with online trolls who criticize her weight while Catelynn receives her microblading certification and looks into opening her own studio. To raise awareness during PCOS month, Maci accepts a challenge from Taylor.

After discovering that a staff member at Nova’s old daycare is a sex offender, Catelynn and Tyler decide to talk to Nova about protecting herself. Mackenzie struggles starting her new job in Florida and taking care of the kids without Josh.

As Maci copes with the aftermath of the shooting, Cheyenne uses her platform to discuss racial injustice. Mackenzie’s friends come to visit her in Florida and question her rekindled marriage. Catelynn and Tyler get news that his sister has relapsed.

Cheyenne is nervous for the results of Zach’s genetic test that will determine whether their unborn child will have vlcad. After not going to Leah’s birthday party, Amber tries to repair the damage caused by her absence.

Cheyenne has a gender reveal party and gets her genetic testing results, Ryan attends a therapy session, Catelynn gets good and bad news, and Leah keeps Amber at arm's length.

Cheyenne and Zach have a blowup after a doctor's appointment, Catelynn and Tyler take a test to determine the sex of their next child, and Mackenzie stages a health intervention for her dad.

Catelynn is wary of the new treatment Tyler wants to try for his bipolar disorder, Amber wants to go to therapy with Leah, and Cheyenne gets upset at Cory for putting work ahead of Ryder.

Amber wants to pursue a college degree in Psychology. Mackenzie and Josh seek professional help for Broncs. Catelynn tries to understand Tyler’s ketamine treatment. Cheyenne is devastated when her sister decides to move to DC.

Still hoping to reconnect with Leah, Amber sends her an emotional video message. Maci and Taylor worry that Maverick might be held back from going to kindergarten. While on vacation in Florida, Catelynn and Tyler meet up with Mackenzie and Josh.

Catelynn takes her microblading career to the next level and starts taking on clients. Gary finally invites Amber over to see Leah. Mackenzie contemplates if Broncs should repeat Pre-Kindergarten. Maci and Taylor divide their time between the kids’ sports.

Maci has a panic attack when she drives by the gas station where the shooting took place. Amber reveals that she is bisexual. Catelynn finds out that her brother has a girlfriend, so she talks to him about safe sex.

Catelynn considers having Nova in the room when she gives birth; Zach decides to pursue a real estate license, but Cheyenne is concerned he will not be able to balance a newborn with a new career.

Maci attempts to explain her PTSD to Bentley; Mackenzie and Josh get advice from a parenting coordinator; Catelynn and Tyler try to wean Vaeda off her pacifier before the new baby arrives.

Catelynn & Tyler explain Carly’s adoption to Nova. Cheyenne finds out she will likely be induced for the safety of her baby. Maci makes healthy lifestyle changes to help manage her PCOS. Gary invites Amber over and their reunion does not go as planned.

Mackenzie struggles to keep her blood sugar under control and lashes out at Josh. Gary reaches out to a parenting coach for advice on Leah and Amber’s relationship. Cheyenne goes into the early stages of labor. Maci wants Taylor to see a therapist.

Cheyenne gives birth to baby Ace while Catelynn plans a babymoon. Mackenzie’s father comes to visit, so she tries to get his health back on track. Gary wants to understand Amber’s mental illnesses so agrees to go to therapy with her.

Amber & Gary finally go to therapy. Maci & Taylor plan a romantic date to work on their marriage. Mackenzie’s father asks to take Jaxie to Oklahoma for the summer. Catelynn and Tyler welcome their fourth and final child.

In Part 1 of the Reunion, Maci shares dating advice with Y&P’s Brianna while Cate & Ty discuss Rachel’s childhood trauma. Amber finds out information that sends her reeling while Cheyenne & Cory question if they are doing enough to make Ryder feel stable.
