Pete claims that he won't travel on an aircraft end up inadvertently impressing a young lady with his commitment to green issues. Pete realises that he is going to have to make changes to his lifestyle if he wants to sustain the relationship.

Jake, a rival and friend of Pete's, reveals an intimate detail about his sex life at a party they are both at. After promising to keep it a secret, Pete ends up telling everyone.

When Pete attends an art auction he meets an attractive older lady and they hit it off. He sonn finds that being a toy boy' though results in complications.

Pete realises that he's too selfish and decides to turn his life around. His first altruistic act is to agree to a visa marriage.

Pete finally gets a decent sports writing job but it's on the basis of a pretend relationship with his best mate's girlfriend. Problems ensue when an office romance blossoms.
