Emma Jean's Holland Burger Café (Victorville, Calif.) • The Rock Café (Stroud, Okla.) • Café on the Route (Baxter Springs, Kan.) Hop in for a ride down historic Route 66. Enjoy some homemade biscuits, German spaetzle, and pecan-crusted catfish.

Evelyn's Drive-In (Tiverton, R.I.) • Hodad's (Ocean Beach, Calif.) • Keegan's Seafood Grille (Indian Rocks Beach, Fla.) Fried clams and lobster chow-mien in Rhode Island, burgers as big as the beach in California, and Mediterranean food in a beach-side strip mall in Florida.

Mike's Chili Parlor (Seattle, Wash.) • Clanton's Café (Vinita, Okla.) • Duarte's Tavern (Pescadero, Calif.) Guy samples local favorites.: Chili from an 85 year-old recipe in Seattle, calf fries and chicken-fried steak in a 4th-generation café in Oklahoma, and Dungeness crab ciopino in California.

Jay Bee's Bar-B-Que (Gardena, Calif.) • Smoque (Chicago, Ill.) • BBQ Shack (Paola, Kan.) Guy travels to LA, Chicago, and Kansas City for some real BBQ.
