Season 1

Jos Welvaert, a farmer in the town of Wijtschate, decides to make an investment, through his cousin Geoffrey.

Jos and Steven set out to the Netherlands, to buy the necessary supplies for their plan to work. Meanwhile, Frank is trying to get some alone time with Julita.

Steven is caught using weed at the parking of the local swimming pool. Jos is afraid Ria will discover his secret. Frank takes Julita out for the first time.

Ria is furious with Jos about his illegal business and has moved out. Ninita is trying to convince Julita to take the money from Lucien and return to the Philippines.

Finally, Jos and Steven's hard work pays off. The batch is ready to be sold. An old acquaintance returns and Julita wants to work, much to Frank's dismay.

Jos has a bad feeling when it comes to selling the weed. Julita is kidnapped in a case of mistaken identity. The deck is stacked against the Welvaert family and they might lose it all.
