Season 1

Damien is hesitant to start a weekly column for Waitsbury's supermarket, but when his partner Anthony decides to take up a new spin on the 'cabbage soup' diet involving copious quantities of courgettes, Damien takes the job to rail against fad diets. Damien also has to bake a birthday cake for his builder Mr. Mullaney.

On Valentine's Day it is tradition that Anthony does all the cooking. It is also tradition that Damien cannot help but try to find out what what Anthony is cooking, much to Anthony's annoyance. Luckily, Mr. Mullaney has a way of stopping Damien's constant interruptions.

Anthony suggests getting a lodger to offset some of the costs of their building work.
