Season 1

After a Rocky Relationship, Black Stand Up Comic O'Neal decides to convert to Judaism for his Jewish fiance Miriam.

With their wedding fast approaching, Miriam and O'Neal still haven't figured out a seating chart that doesn't feel like the segregated south. Miriam's first attempt to cook Soul Food ends in disaster.

With the wedding just days away, Miriam and O'Neal head to New York where their polar opposite families will meet for the first time.

Just back from their honeymoon, Miriam goes too far in her attempts to beat her biological clock. O'Neal struggles with his fear of becoming a "boring married man".

Miriam confronts O'Neal on his over-the-top spending habits which lead him to a check-cashing joint in an attempt to hide his paychecks. O'Neal's conversion classes hit a snag.

Miriam's reluctance to change her last name wounds O'Neal's ego. O'Neal wonders if marrying a White woman is literally turning him White.

Miriam and O'Neal are given a charity assignment, but they have trouble agreeing on an idea for it.

O'Neal gets homesick for the South, so Miriam invites his cousin Lucy to visit.

O'Neal gets cocky and decides that he can be a better Jew than Miriam; Andre steals Luba from Chico when he takes her on a date.

O'Neal tries to impress his mother-in-law by hosting his first Shabbat dinner; a surprise call brings some bad news.

O'Neal finds out that he must get re-circumcised for Judaism earlier than he expected and plans an all red party to honor the occasion.

O'Neal says goodbye to his past and prepares for his future, leaving Miriam to fear the worst.
