Sofie and Sebastian carry a deep dark secret. They sign up as students at Ottman's Boarding School in their search for answers, but it's not easy being a student when you are different.

The twins discover why their mother went to the boarding school, but the curse remains. Nadja wants Sebastian at any cost. Ditlev picks Sofie as his victim in the initiation ceremony for new students.

Sebastian and Sofie discover some old paintings and that they are connected to the secrets of their past.

Ditlev's death shocks the school. Just convinces the police that it was suicide, but he knows better and starts his own investigation to identify the murderer.

Sebastian wants Sofie to exploit her relationship with Emilie to get information. The twins are forced to take drastic action against Nadja, while Just tells his daughters about their family secret.
