Sonja and the children are back in Sweden with protected identities. The main witness against Sonja's brother Niklas is brutally murdered. Will she be forced to testify? Their father Anders receives a heavy message.

Word of Sonja's return spreads, with consequences for her new life. As the hunt for her continues, Inspector Emil Svensson issues an ultimatum.

Niklas is released, but pressured hard by Barry. Anders tries to find out who attacked his daughter. Sonja starts working for John again, but one day she stops by the marina.

Nina and Sonja's relationship deteriorates. Sonja finds out who is behind the attempts on her life. Niklas does drug deals and ends up in danger.

While Hanna is in labour, Niklas has disappeared without a trace. Sonja forgets Linus' birthday. Barry tries once again to get his hands on the club Rose.

Emil pressures Sonja about an unexpected find in the marina. Anders is released in an ankle bracelet. Nina gets unexpected help, and Lukas makes a crucial decision.
