With an injured climber stuck in the death zone, veteran pilot Jason preps his heli for the world's highest landing spot. Rookie Pilot Ryan searches for 9 climbers, stranded in a remote corner of the Himalayas.

Monsoon season brings new dangers. Ryan battles the elements while racing back to Lukla with sick climbers. Andy is plunged into a deadly blackout while flying to rescue a climber with a life threatening head-injury.

Across the Himalayas, pilots are stretched to breaking. Ryan confronts an uninvited climber trying to hitch a ride at 17,500 feet. Jason attempts his highest ever rescue. Lorenz learns some grim realities of flying in the Himalayas.
