Whitney's Greensboro friends come to Charlotte for a fun filled weekend. But things get tense when Heather discovers that Buddy's been staying with Whitney. And when Ryan crashes their party, Heather welcomes him with a very friendly kiss!

After Ryan and Heather's illicit kiss, Whitney warns them not to date. And Whitney quits BGDC to focus on her new business. Then Ryan challenges Whitney to whitewater rafting, but an argument ensues while he attempts to rescue her from the current.

When Chase takes Whitney home to West Virginia to meet his family, she fears they won't accept her. But the couple fights when he doesn't want her to leave early for Buddy's comedy show. And Chase's sister puts Whitney on the spot about having kids.

Whitney worries for her parents' safety after her dad falls down the stairs. Buddy discovers he must make amends to Whitney for his recovery. Ryan and Chase throw Whitney a party, but Chase is jealous when Whitney leaves to take a call from Buddy.

Whitney trains for the State Championships with a new weightlifting coach. And Whitney wants to tell Chase she loves him, but will he say it back? Then Babs and Glenn host a formal dinner to meet Chase, but Glenn pressures him about his intentions.

Ryan surprises Whitney with a hefty business proposition and she is forced to get on board or miss the opportunity of a lifetime. Meanwhile, Buddy sits Whitney down to make amends, but is he prepared for what she has to say?
