Howard, Zak and Scott vie for the night's big story, not knowing if it will be a bus fire, a drowning or a high-speed chase through LA.

While Austin copes with the aftermath of a nerve-wracking car wreck, Scott bristles at the competition and Zak strikes a deal.

Tensions brew as the rivalry between Scott and Zak slides into focus. Howard wonders if he and his brothers have what it takes to compete.

As rain leads to drama on the freeways, Austin considers a big change and Scott gets the rare opportunity to do a story with a happy ending.

Zak's decision rubs Scott the wrong way. Howard tries to break a bad streak by hustling for a story. Scott drops a bombshell on Todd.

Victor breaks a cardinal rule. Scott gets into it with some cops at a crime scene. Zak makes Howard a life-changing offer.

After defusing a tense situation, Howard comes across a bear of a story. Zak mourns the loss of a fellow stringer. Austin makes a decision.

In hopes of clearing the air, Howard organizes a late-night meeting with Scott and Zak. But the trio's bitter history stands in the way.
