Hans Holzer believed a sensational tale of heartache and murder hid the real story behind one of his most famous cases. The team heads to New York City’s Old Merchant’s House to uncover the terrifying truth of this Victorian-age haunting.

The team unearths Hans Holzer's long-hidden case file of the Surratt Tavern, the infamous first stop of John Wilkes Booth after assassinating Abraham Lincoln in 1865. They seek to uncover the true identities of the dark souls haunting the property.

Between 1960 and 1975, Hans conducted several investigations of Franklin Castle, one of America's most haunted houses. Strangely, he refused to publish his findings. The team travels to Ohio to uncover why he intentionally buried the mysterious case.

Hans Holzer had a lifelong obsession with Rockland County, NY, the site of his first case. Half a century later, the team attempts to decode the region's rampant paranormal activity. Does it stem from a revolutionary past or something far more sinister?

In 1969, Jaqueline Emery called Dr. Holzer out to investigate her home in Sykesville, Maryland, also known as the Howard Lodge, a Georgian mansion from the 1700s.
